Description: The main contribution of the UCAM-SCBIO (Dr. Vidal-Puig group) to MITIN initiative will be within the Mouse model phenotyping and profiling experiments aiming to investigate how selective defects in PGC-1α and PGC1β modulate the mechanisms of insulin sensitivity. This will be carried out in WP4, which will be leaded by UCAM-SCBIO, and will include work based on genetically animal models generated in UCAM and profiling resources available from UCAM. Moreover, UCAM-SCBIO will contribute to the experimental validation of targets in WP5 in KO mice.
